MATHS
A.LAB ACTIVITIES: Do give activities in activity copy using graph/color papers and geometry box
1. To verify the DISTRIBUTIVE PROPERTY of whole numbers.
2. To find fractions equivalent to a given fraction.
B. PROJECT: Make a PPT or Chart to represent “PROPERTIES OF RATIONAL NUMBERS” (closure, commutative, Associative, Distributive Property ) Explain each with suitable examples and arrange them in a table as given in your textbook.
OR
Make a GEOBOARD to explain different geometrical ideas.
C. ASSIGNMENT:
* Learn Table from 2 to 20.
*Write and Learn squares of 1-20 and cubes of 1-10
*Solve all examples of CH 1 and CH 2 in a fair notebook and “TRY THESE” in the book only.
SCIENCE
1. Gather information about what kind of crops are majorly grown in India. Arrange the data in the form of a bar graph
2. There are animals that destroy the crop before it is harvested. Farmers find it difficult to protect crops from these animals, insects, and microorganisms. Provide information to your classmates by answering the questions.
(a) What are these animals/insects called? Name a few that ruin the standing crops.
(b) What methods do the farmers employ to protect their crops?
(c) Name some common insecticides used to protect crops.
(d) Write the difference between insecticide, pesticide, fungicide, and rodenticide.
(e) Try to find out the traditional method if any for the removal of insects or pests, used by the farmers.
3. Find out which vaccines you have given till now. Write short notes about the diseases associated with these vaccinations.
4. Inquire to the people nearby you about the diseases they are suffering or were infected with previously. Try to find out the causative organism, mode of infection, symptoms, cure, and prevention. (Tabulate at least 10 diseases)

Q.3 Watch English news almost daily for half an hour and write at least 5 best news out of them.
Q.4 Write a Paragraph on: - A) The Scene of a village fair. OR B) Importance of library.
Q.5 Retell any story which you know well in English. Make a video of it and send it via mail.
Q.6 Write a notice for your School Notice Board about Essay Writing Competition under CCA.
Q.7 Write 20 affirmative sentences and change them into negative and interrogative.
